Packing Slips Page
The Packing Slips page in the Lab Management Software (LMS) provides a centralized location for managing all aspects of order shipment, from creating packing slips to tracking shipments.
Main Features
Overview
- List of all created packing slips
- Filter packing slips by status
- View key information: Clinic name, number of orders, creation date, status, and track & trace code
Packing Slip Details Page
Clicking on an individual packing slip opens a detailed view, including:
- Changelog of statuses
- Track and trace information
- Orders included in the packing slip
- Shipping address
- Billing address
Available Actions
- Print packing slip (A4 format)
- Change status to "Sent"
Automated Status Updates
The system automatically updates order statuses based on packing slip actions:
- Creating a packing slip: All included orders are updated to "Ready for Shipping"
- Marking a packing slip as "Sent": All included orders are updated to "Sent"
Clinic Notifications
When changing the status of a packing slip, you have the option to inform the clinic about the shipment via email, with the packing slip attached.
Creating New Packing Slips
- Click "Add Package Slip" on the Packing Slips page
- View all customers with orders in "Produced" status
- Select shipping location (if multiple locations are available)
- Create the packing slip
- System redirects to the details page of the new packing slip
If there's only one shipping location available for the orders, the location selection step is automatically skipped.
Best Practices
- Regularly review the Packing Slips page to ensure timely shipment of completed orders
- Use the filtering options to focus on specific statuses or date ranges
- Always verify the shipping address before finalizing a packing slip
- Utilize the clinic notification feature to keep customers informed about their shipments
Packing Slip Statuses
Typical statuses might include:
- Created
- Printed
- Sent
Ensure that status changes are promptly updated to provide accurate information to both the lab team and clinics.
Printing and Documentation
- Print packing slips on A4 paper for easy reading and filing

- Enter track and trace codes as soon as they're available
