5. Export

The Export tab provides options for exporting your midsole designs and sending them to production. It's organized into three main sections: Export, Order, and Produce.

Export​

Export STL​

Account Deduction

When using this option, one export will be deducted from your account for the selected product.

When you click Export STL with, a popup appears with export options to export the product in STL format:

  • Shoe last design: Export the shoe lasts
  • Midsole design: Export the midsoles
  • Foil (test shoe) - Net: Export a netto test shoe
  • Shoe last design - Gross: Export bruto model (shoe last with midsole, if midsole enabled)
  • Foil (test shoe) - Gross: Export bruto test shoe (shoe last with midsole, if midsole enabled)

Order​

Visibility

This section is only visible when your account is configured with at least one outsource partner.

Account Deduction

Ordering will not deduct any midsoles from your account.

Save Order​

Saves the design in .l3z format as a production item. Unlike the design export, these files cannot be modified.

Place Order​

Uploads the design to the order/outsource platform of your selected outsource partner.

Produce​

Account Deduction

Placing in production will not deduct any midsoles from your account.

Produce Now​

Adds item to production queue and opens it immediate for export.

When clicking Produce Now with midsole enabled, options include:

  • Shoe last design: Process shoe lasts
  • Midsole design: Process the midsoles
  • Foil (test shoe) - Net: Process netto test shoe
  • Shoe last design - Gross: Process bruto model (shoe last with midsole, if midsole enabled)
  • Foil (test shoe) - Gross: Process bruto test shoe (shoe last with midsole, if midsole enabled)

Place in Production​

Adds the design to the production queue for later processing.
