Accounts

Account Management​

The Lab Management Software utilizes two main types of accounts:

  1. Admin Account
  2. Clinic Account

Admin Account​

  • Provided by LutraCAD
  • Grants access to the full suite of lab management tools
  • Used by lab managers and administrators

Clinic Account​

  • Managed by the lab admin in their backoffice
  • Used for scanning, placing orders, and accessing the Client Portal
  • The same account credentials are used for:
    • Scanning software
    • Ordering process
    • Logging into the Lab Management Software Client Portal

Email addresses must be unique across the system to prevent conflicts and ensure proper account management.

Client Portal​

Clinics can access their dedicated portal within the Lab Management Software using their clinic account.

Features:​

  • View and manage their orders
  • Cancel orders (if not yet in production)
  • Reorder from past orders
  • Access clinic-specific reports and statistics

Account Security​

Given the sensitive nature of medical data and the multi-account capabilities, it's crucial to maintain strong security practices:

  • Use strong, unique passwords for each account
  • Regularly review account activity
  • Log out of accounts when not in use, especially on shared devices

Getting Started​

For Clinics:

  1. Receive your initial account credentials from your partnered lab
  2. Use these credentials to access the scanning software, ordering system, and Client Portal

For Lab Administrators:

  1. Receive your admin account credentials from LutraCAD
  2. Log into the Lab Management Software to set up your lab's specific workflows and settings
  3. Manage clinic accounts and oversee all lab operations through the admin dashboard
