1. Base
Load the scan and set up the base shape of the brace.

| Scans → 3D → Edit | Load or switch the 3D scan the brace is built from. |
| Production method | Choose Milling: Brace or 3D Printing: Brace. |
| Remove Cast | Offset the surface inward (mm) to remove the thickness of a cast layer. Use a negative number to offset outward. |
| Flatten bottom | Enable to flatten the underside of the brace. Set Remove (0 to 20 mm) and Add (0 to 20 mm) to control how much material comes off and is added back. |
| Shin box | Enable to add an anterior shin reinforcement. Set the Height (0 to 10 mm). |
| Toe box | Enable to extend a box over the forefoot. Set the Thickness (0 to 10 mm) and Extra length (0 to 10 mm). |
tip
You cannot continue without a base shape. Load the 3D scan first, then set Remove Cast and the box options.
