LXSeries

The LXSeries scanner application is designed to work with our range of LXSeries scanners, including the LX500 Compact, LX800 Plus, and LXL1800. This versatile application is also be compatible with other supported scanners.

LXSeries Scanner Software​

The LXSeries Scanner software is a standalone application that allows you to use our scanners independently of our CAD system. This provides flexibility for users who may not need or have access to the full CAD suite.

Key features of the LXSeries Scanner software:

  • Compatible with all LXSeries scanners
  • User-friendly interface for scanning and basic data management
  • Ability to export scans in various formats for use in other systems

This software ensures that you can start using your LXSeries scanner right out of the box, even if you're not using our CAD system.

Scanning Modes​

The application offers multiple ways of working to suit different needs:

1. Local Mode (Offline)​

  • Select an output directory
  • Enter a reference
  • Click "Scan Left" and "Scan Right"
  • Saves the STL files and JPGs in the output directory

2. Project Mode (Offline)​

  • Select an output directory
  • Enter a reference
  • Click "Scan Left" and "Scan Right"
  • Click "Save" to store everything in a ZIP file in the output directory

3. Cloud Mode (Online)​

  • Enter a reference
  • Scan left and right
  • Fill in the prescription form
  • Click "Upload" to send to our cloud

Cloud Integration​

When using Cloud mode, all scan data and prescription information are securely uploaded to the LutraCAD cloud. This enables seamless integration with our Windows software:

  1. Scans are uploaded to the LutraCAD cloud from the scanner application.
  2. Users can access these files in the Windows software using the "Cloud import" button.
  3. This allows for easy retrieval and processing of scans from any location with internet access.
Efficient Data Management

The cloud integration ensures that your scan data is always accessible and backed up, facilitating collaboration between different locations or team members.

Ideal Solution for Labs and Clinics​

The LXSeries scanner application provides an ideal solution for labs to place in clinics. This setup streamlines the entire process from patient scanning to order placement:

  1. Clinicians can easily scan patients' feet using the user-friendly interface.
  2. The prescription form can be filled out directly in the application.
  3. Orders can be placed immediately after scanning and form completion.
  4. Labs receive the orders instantly through the Lab Management Software.
