The scan preview

Finish ends the scan and shows the result: the finished model, which you can turn and zoom with one finger, two fingers and a pinch.

Control	What it does
Back (top left)	Throws the scan away and returns to the scan screen so you can try again.
Save (right on iPad, bottom on iPhone)	Keeps the scan, closes the scanner and adds the scan to the order.

Save is the moment the scan becomes a file. The app writes the model, closes the scanner and adds a 3D Scan row for that side to the order. If the model could not be written, nothing is added and you stay in the preview.

The model is grey, and that is normal

Foot scans have no colour. The model in the preview and in the file is always plain grey.

If you tap Save before the model is finished there is nothing to write yet. That is what Scan failed is about: wait to click save after scanning until meshing is finished.
